Meet Nwandi

I’m Nwandi Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and founder of Release To Peace, LLC. I graduated from Mercer University with my Masters in Clinical mental health counseling, after which I obtained a range of experience working in crisis stabilization, private clinics, inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment, and serving underrepresented communities in the areas of individual and family trauma.

Through my years of serving in the mental health field, and experience with my own trauma and adverse experiences, I’ve developed a keen passion for intentionally being apart of, creating, and cultivating spaces for women to begin (or continue) processing their own experiences that have hindered them from showing up as their healthiest, most authentic selves. It was through my work with adult women in the community mental health sector that I truly began to realize how deeply and widely traumatic experiences can affect everything we do-how we think, how we feel, and what we believe. This led me to pursue more understanding about how women are uniquely impacted by individual, family and societal systems.

Through an open, compassionate, person-centered approach, I help women unveil, navigate and release narratives that have reinforced shame, guilt, and distrust of ourselves and the world we see, so that they can live lives reflective of hope, fulfillment and peace. If desired, I am open to incorporating faith-based approaches as well. It is truly an honor to do this work!
